Tree Condition Survey and Report
This type of tree survey is essential if you are concerned about the health or safety of your trees. During the survey, our qualified tree surveyor will identify issues such as weak branch junctions, disease, or decay, and evaluate how these affect the structural integrity of each tree. The resulting Tree Report will detail our findings and provide tailored recommendations to minimise liability and reduce risk, ensuring the safety of your property and its surroundings.

Your Responsibilities
If you own or manage land with trees, you have a legal duty to ensure they are maintained in a safe condition to prevent foreseeable harm caused by tree failure. This obligation is outlined in the Occupiers' Liability Act 1954/1980.For commercial premises, there is an additional requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to conduct regular tree surveys, ensuring that trees do not pose a risk of foreseeable damage or injury.Government guidance, along with recommendations from the Forestry Commission and the Arboricultural Association, emphasises the importance of regular tree surveys performed by a qualified tree surveyor. Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in legal liability and potential prosecution.
Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) Tree Survey
At Ascent Arboriculture, we are licensed users of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) System, enabling us to carry out tree surveys that quantify and assess risk. The resulting QTRA Tree Report includes a clear figure representing the probability of significant harm occurring, allowing you to make informed decisions about managing your trees.
This type of tree survey is particularly suited for those responsible for managing large tree stocks, providing a systematic and reliable approach to risk management.
